“The right wins the arguments.
The left wins the battles.”
Alabama67 exists for this one purpose:
To provide an on-ramp for conservative, Christian Alabamians across all 67 counties to organize and coordinate, expanding their influence to better reflect Godly principles in Alabama politics.
Here’s the facts.
The left is better at doing.
They are more involved.
They are more passionate.
They are more persistent.
They are better at coordinating.
How do you think abortion, marijuana use, legalized gambling, gay marriage – all which were 80/20 issues against at some point in time – became mainstream and fully adopted in American culture?
It’s because a passionate, coordinated minority beats a passive, uncoordinated majority – almost without exception.
(And because vices and wickedness always appear more immediately attractive than personal discipline and Godliness.)
You see, the right is fantastic at winning arguments. We even like to mock the left as we watch them self-destruct.
We know we’re usually right. And the absolute chaos and depths of wickedness from the left the last 15 years makes this even more obvious.
But arguments don’t win in politics. Arguments simply supply the logic, messaging, and fuel.
“Doing” wins in politics.
That’s it.
Motivated, coordinated, persistent doing.
Today we have an 80/20 issue in Alabama – we have transgender material in the children’s section of our public libraries.
70%-80% of Alabamians polled do not want this filth in front of our children.
It is truly an 80/20 issue.
And there is absolutely no reason we should lose this battle.
Absolutely no reason.
We have more than enough numbers to win.
But will it matter?
Will we learn to put our bodies behind our beliefs?
Will we engage in motivated, coordinated, persistent efforts to fix our libraries?
Alabama67 wants to be a leader in making this happen.
